GENDER EQUALITY

At Momentum, we have a longstanding dedication to promoting gender diversity, ensuring equal pay, facilitating women's access to positions of leadership, fostering work-life balance, and combating harassment, sexism, and violence across our operations in the UK, France, Belgium, and The Netherlands.

In France, where companies with more than 50 employees are required to calculate and disclose their Gender Equality Index, we are pleased to announce that we achieved a score of 99 out of 100 for the 2023 assessment. This marks the second consecutive years of exceptional performance, reflecting our commitment to advancing gender equality within our organisation.

In the UK, we voluntarily participate in Gender Pay Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. This entails assessing gender equality within our workforce, including the distribution of male and female employees across different levels, the effective utilisation and recognition of talent, and the ongoing efforts to eliminate any gender pay gap. We take pride in maintaining a gender pay gap close to zero for six consecutive years, underscoring our dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace environment.

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

Momentum Services Limited nurtures real passion for service and recognises that the success of the business is dependent on the respect and value of each individual’s personality.

Maximum diversity and creativity have a great importance for our culture. Our concern is to allow everyone to grow in confidence and create value for themselves and for the company.

SUSTAINABILITY

Improving our performance continuously is actively sought to implement environmentally friendly, energy efficient and non-polluting techniques and methods with particular attention to: our suppliers, packaging & product choice, waste management and environmental awareness.

In tune with Eurostar Business Premier Culinary Director, 2-star Michelin Chef Raymond Blanc, Momentum has set itself the goal to increase the proportion of local and seasonal suppliers.

Sourcing locally and seasonally across 4 countries means that our business is less dependent on imports which not only means that we will reduce our carbon footprint through shorter food miles and reduced emissions, but haulage and storage costs will be reduced too. We are proud to be a part of Food Made Good, the world’s largest food service sustainability programme by Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) accreditation as a Three-Star Sustainability Champion for its commitment to sourcing local and sustainably produced ingredients and for pursuing a socially and environmentally responsible approach.

Our partnership with Circul’R emphasizes our engagement in

reduction of waste and disposable to be an absolute priority.

We kick-started Momentum Circular Programme to tackle environmental challenges in the business with our own Circular Economy Ambassadors and successfully ran the first-ever single-use plastic-free commercial train in November 2019.

ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management maps out the framework that Momentum follows so that the environmental impacts are minimized.
